DGS Application - Form 1 2027/2028

Applications for Form 1 2027/2028 will be accepted between 9am on Friday 2nd October 2026 until 5pm on Friday 23rd October 2026.

Those wishing to register an application should take note of the below information:

All prospective students must apply via the online form which will be linked below.
Applications can be made at any time during the application window and will remain open until 5pm on Friday 23rd of October.
Applications can only be accepted for prospective students due to commence second level education (Form 1) in September 2027
There is no advantage in applying earlier within the application period as applicants will be sorted by criteria 1-5 after the deadline closes.
We can only accept one application per prospective student. Multiple applications will be disregarded.
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their applications is Friday 13th November 2026.
Applicants have a 14 days to confirm acceptance of offers.
Data collected from the form is in line with the school's Admissions Policy and Procedures. All data supplied will be held securely and used for the sole purpose of which it is required. By completing and submitting the online application you are giving consent to Drogheda Grammar School to process the personal data for the purpose described in this paragraph.
By applying for admission of your student to Drogheda Grammar School, you understand and accept the ethos of the school and agree to the rules and regulations set forth in the Code of Behaviour and general school rules as amended from time to time. These are available to view on the school website.
