Assessment Structure
Each year our students receive a number of assessment / exam reports which give feedback to parents and guardians.
PLEASE NOTE- THERE IS A SEPARATE CBA and ASSESSMENT TASK timetable/schedule based on the windows allocated by the department. Below covers the senior years and planned “house exams”.
The assessment and exam reports have been carefully designed to assist teachers in recording your students’ progress in each subject/module. The aim of the assessment/exam reports are twofold. Firstly, they reflect your student’s progress in each subject and secondly, they are a medium whereby teachers can give feedback to students and parents as to how best to improve in subject areas.
ASSESSMENT AND REPORT SCHEDULE 2024-25 Effort mark- effort mark is based on effort over that term, not on effort in the exam eg. someone can fail the exam but work their hardest during the year, or vice versa. The effort mark reflects their overall work and contribution in class and homework throughout the term. |
